'Hemus' 2026 cooperation agreement signed

04.06.2026–During the international exhibition "Hemus -2026" - Plovdiv, a new page was opened in cooperation between Bulgaria and Poland for the development of modern aviation technologies. The signed Agreement on Cooperation between the two specialized military aviation plants - Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 SA and AVIONAMS launched negotiations on potential joint activities in the field of maintenance of the operation of F-16 aircraft and unmanned systems. "In a broader context, it is envisaged to strengthen cooperation between Poland and Bulgaria in the defense and aerospace sectors. Developing relationships between companies from both countries promotes the exchange of knowledge, the building of industrial competencies and the strengthening of the potential of the European defense industry," says information published on the official website of WZL 2.
