Two military Mi-17

12.2013 – Avionams aircraft repair plant is proud  with  the  successful completion of another in-depth overhaul and the recovery of airworthiness of two military Mil Mi-17 helicopters.

Alongside with the airframe repair and recovery of the functionality of all onboard systems on both helicopters, the repair plant did complete overhaul and complex testing of their VR-14 main gearboxes, AI-9V APUs and other smaller power units.

After passing all test flights both machines were transported with a cargo airplane to the client’s base, where they were later prepared for their service.
